In a previous video I had you create your ideal partner list – detailing out anything and everything you desire in your partner and love relationship. Did you do it? If not, it’s important to complete that exercise before you move on to today’s video.
Let’s take a deeper look at your list. Often when we make a declaration of what we want, immediately the negative ego rears its ugly head and tries to convince you that you can’t have what you want. Maybe it wants you to believe that you’re not good enough or it nags you with reasons why you shouldn’t have what you want or that you don’t deserve it.
These are limiting beliefs that live in our subconscious and out of our awareness. They drive our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. When we are unaware of these old beliefs they sabotage what we set out to have in life – love, happiness, and money. They show themselves when we start moving out of our comfort zone and into new territory. Until a person or situation activates those limiting beliefs we are often unaware they’re there as well as how they stop us from achieving our goals.
My belief is that you should have everything you desire in your ideal partner. That being said, we attract people similar to ourselves into our lives. Remember from day 3 when I talked about your Attraction Factor and how like attracts like? You can attract someone into your life within a range of where you are and depending upon where you are right now, that may not be your ideal partner. This means if you yourself aren’t most of the qualities on your list the most important action you can take to attract a mate is to focus on becoming each of those qualities.

After looking back over your list you may decide right now is not the time to focus on finding your ideal partner. Instead you may want to focus your time and energy on becoming the best version of you possible. And by the way here’s a little secret…often when you focus on the inner work, you attract in fun and interesting people along the way.
